Thursday night was "back to the Castle" night at Norton Elementary - home of the Norton Knights! Mila was very excited to meet her new teacher (who sent her a letter with sparkly stuff in it last week).
I would have liked to say it was a quick in and out visit ... but seeing as the girls spent 15 minutes dressing and co-ordinating their outfits and considering the long walk from the car. I embraced the event and hung out in the class room speaking to other parents who had nothing better to do and then wondered the halls so Mila could re-orientate herself.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! My little girl is growing up too fast.
They look absolutely gorgeous the 3 of them together.
My heart aches because I am not there for these accasions.
it's so weird that she's going to gr 1 ... but especially 'cause she doesn't have a school uniform on.
