The Audacity of HOPE ... makes a sense of humour imperative:)

What a wonderful day to wake up in America. I feel so privileged to be living here and witness this historic election of an inspiring man. A great day in history. An exciting time to be alive.

At Mila's school they got to vote on computers on Friday. Mila tells me she was 1 of 3 people in her class who voted for Obama (yes, we are "deep in the heart of TEXAS"). She was ecstatic to hear that Obama won the election last night ... this morning she was dancing around the house singing "Barack Obama"

While on the topic of singing and the election .... on Sunday, as the Sacrament was being passed at church, Julia started singing in a quiet (but clear), tuneful voice "John McCain ,Yahoo, John McCain, Yahoo". Kurt and I could only try and contain ourselves but both of us had tears in our eyes trying to keep from laughing out loud!

Yikes! What are you guys gonna do when you support opposing candidates at some future date? Peaceful prostests in the front yard, campaign posters on the bedroom doors, debate tyhe issues at FHE . . . actually. now that I think about it, it could be kinda fun :).
