"Drew Loves ME!! " Mila exclaimed as she bounced into the van. The other 3 neighbour girls that I collect from school in the afternoons all started sharing their day's adventures .... but Mila had got my attention and I wanted to know more.
"How do you know?" I asked, casually - trying to hide the fact that I wanted every detail.
"He tries to hug me all the time"
"I thought that the school rules forbid touching anyone else"
"That is why he got in trouble the other day for kicking my back pack"
"Why do you think he did that?"
"He wanted to touch it"
"Of Course"
"When I was leaving to go home he came and hugged me and I was like: WHAT WAS THAT FOR? .... I am NOT getting married in Kindergarten. I am TOO young for that!"
Phew !

Mila is so cute! Wish our daughters could play together they'd probably end up with tiara's and mommy's shoes while the boys serve them some "tea" -
Where do these kids come from???
They seem so different and confident compared to us as kids.

That is so cute. I can still remember my first 'boyfriend' that I had, also in kindergarten. I say 'boy friend' because that is all that it is at this stage, .... but 'touch' ... he still has to have MY permission for that, and that won't come easy!!
Willa got her first kiss from one of her kindergarten mates (Cole) earlier this year. On the last day of kindergarten, she matter-or-factly told me, "I asked Cole if we should kiss since this is the last day, but he said no." Love is fleeting...
