It's Vewee, vewee funnee

For all the mischief Julia gets up to and her consistent attempts to push the limits in every which direction ... Julia is also consistent in making us giggle, aah at her cuteness and often just laugh out loud . One of those laugh out loud moments occured a couple of hours ago. After church we came home and Julia, Mila and Liam all fell asleep (in that order). We let them sleep way too long, enjoying the very rare peace. To prevent being up till midnight as penance for this, we went to a park and encouraged much exercise. It was dark when we coaxed the girls away from the jungle gym to look at the fountain in a pond that was on the way to the car.

On arriving at the pond, Julia exclaimed "What the hell..... where are the ducks?"
Kurt and I looked at each other, wondering if we heard her right. At this point I would have just told myself that I heard her wrong but Kurt asked her to repeat herself. When she did we could not stop ourselves from laughing (yes we had heard right the first time).

Last night we heated our "spa" and all climbed in. It was such fun. The kids "swam" around then got dressed in their pajamas in front of the fireplace. Julia exclaimed "that was Vewee, vewee fun." She took the words right out of my mouth!
