Fight for Zimbabwe

There is a link on the top right to a song by Ard Matthews (group :JUST JINGER). He is a South African (who went to my school!).
In his own words :

"I am currently working on an album called 'First Offerings'. It is just about complete. This is one of the first tracks and is written about the current crisis in Zimbabwe. It is my hope and intention to keep the recent 'election scam' issue fresh in the mind of the rest of the world. The only way I know how to keep it fresh on the lips of people is through song. Please spread this very important message where possible!

The whole project has been written and recorded by me in my home studio in Los Angeles with the occasional input from friends of mine. eg. Fight for Zimbabwe features my long time compadre, Denholm G Harding on the bass guitar! Pretty rocking huh?! Anyway, this is a project of passion and is a gift from the heart. It is encouraging that Mugabe and Tsvangirai have signed a pledge to talk in and effort to improve the crisis in Zimbabwe. Unfortunately, negotiations have been abandoned, apparently due to a deadlock over Mugabe's insistence that he remain president and that opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai accept one of three vice presidential posts in his government. As part of the "Memorandum of Understanding", both parties agreed not to communicate to media - so it is difficult to know what is actually going on. Hopefully talks will resume soon and progress will be made to improve the situation for Zimbabweans.
