No trip to Housten would be complete without a visit to NASA. We had a fun afternoon - untill we lost Julia for a VERY long few minutes. She was with Kurt in some space ship... when she decided she needed some popcorn ... and promptly followed her nose, I guess!
SO SCARY -
but not as scary as when she did the same thing at the beach (Galveston) the next day. She was with us one minute and then she was GONE. Obviously, I was terrified she had gone into the water without us noticing. But as it turned out she didn't like being dirty, and had gone off to find the car because she was ready to go home!!

Kurt and Julia in the Sea. You got to love the fact that Kurt and I both dress so well for the beach... truth is we are very sun conscious ! We do LOVE the sun though... and it was so great to be a a warm ocean. You might notice none of our children were being "hat compliant!" ... thats what sunscreen is for, I suppose!

Mila did what she does best (collecting things) and accumulated an entire ziplock bag of shells.
