A couple of weeks ago, Kurt was tucking in Julia and rhetorically asked "How did you get to be SO CUTE?" After a pause for thought,
" I think Jesus did it" was the reply.

Driving home form the Arboretum with Grandma and Grandpa in the car ..... Julia asked Kurt:
"Papa, can we swim when we get home?"
Kurt:" Maybe"
Julia:"YAAAAAAYY"
Grandma: "Maybe does not mean yes, Julia."
Julia: "But it does not mean NO either."
"Papa, can we swim when we get home?"
Kurt:" Maybe"
Julia:"YAAAAAAYY"
Grandma: "Maybe does not mean yes, Julia."
Julia: "But it does not mean NO either."
Tonight I went upstairs to feed Liam when I got home from work. He was fussing - kurt had just put him down but he needed his milk. Julia was trying to keep him happy (reasonably effectively) by winding up a little music clock. When I lay down next to her to feed Liam she looked at me very seriously and said:
"When I grow up I am going to marry Liam". Then she looked at me. I just smiled. "Right?" she demanded. I paused, then:
" No, you won't. He is your brother, you will marry another boy who will treat you like a princess and love you madly". She couldn't help smiling but was still concerned.
"Who will I marry then?"
"I don't know, maybe ... then I proceeded to throw out any young boys' names her age. "
"He is NOT HANDSOME, she replied to the first name - and he is ONLY 3!"
"When I grow up I am going to marry Liam". Then she looked at me. I just smiled. "Right?" she demanded. I paused, then:
