The City of Allen puts on FREE concerts at a city park on Monday nights through a couple of months in the Summer. We attended our first one this past Monday and had a WONDERFUL time. It definitely helped that the group playing were fellow Beatles devotees. I am a hippie at heart and have always said I was born in the wrong decade - because the 60's music speaks to my soul! As a teenager I spent a lot of time wearing a bandanna and hippie hair; and I was thrilled to find bell-bottomed scrubs recently to wear to work!
