The popsicle compensated (barely) for the other hand being wrapped up with a splint
As he got to feeling slightly better ... and got the IV out ... it was very irritating to have these on his feet. But they too were removed ... eventually!
Apple juice and ice - what a treat! Despite wooziness and the difficulty of holding a cup with one hand wrapped up - he refused any help to drink.
All went well and he is quickly getting back to his regular self. With improved hearing and quieter breathing, we hope.

was it painful after surgery?
I just want to eat him up... he looks sooo adorable. Do give him a BIG kiss from his Oumi and Oupa.
