LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL

TEN THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR RIGHT NOW (in no particular order!):
  1. Cooking on a gas stove
  2. Great friends (whose children are great friends with my children.): perhaps no coincidence ... but very convenient nonetheless.
  3. Wonderful neighbours.
  4. Lift clubs (also known as "ride share"). Yes, although Mila is in school, thanks to my "wonderful neighbours" whom I mentioned above... I do not need to wake up Julia and Liam and pile them into the car to take Mila to school. I do the pick up in the afternoon. It makes me very happy:)
  5. Employment -the opportunity to be paid for work I enjoy and also that Kurt has a challenging job with possibilities.
  6. Liam's affinity to Kurt. Whenever Kurt is at home these days, Liam's interest in me revolves only around nursing. As soon as that "need" is satisfied, it is all about Kurt.
  7. Mila still listens to me.
  8. My hardworking husband who comes home and shows us that he loves us.
  9. Julia's forgiveness. I lost my temper with her last night and she still cuddled with me and told me she loves me when I apologised.
  10. SKYPE- yes the wonder of being able to speak to my Mom and Dad a few times a week (AND SEE THEM) while they are in Ghana and I sit in Texas; and our weekly date with Nanna and Oupa (Kurt's folks) on Sundays. A Modern Day Miracle as far as I am concerned!
