Sarah Palin: This will be on the test
Surely she should have been well prepared for all these questions - Gibson hit all the points that I would personally have liked her to clear up. I couldn't shake the feeling that she has got herself caught up in lies that are becoming difficult to explain.
for example, on the bridge to nowhere issue:
"Thanks but no thanks" - when she really said "Give me the money". I could go on but you guys have heard it all too, I am sure.
The interview was definitely an uncomfortable one. I also got the impression (as found in this blog: Gibson v. Palin) that it crossed over to interrogation mode at times. I felt this was due to Gibson's aggressive questioning, but also to Palin being on the defensive.
A maverick is a person who shows independence of thought or action; a non-conformist or rebel. (courtesy of Wikipedia)
I am at a loss to support this term being used to describe Palin and McCain- where exactly do their policies differ from the current administration?
Here is another blog in her defense (just for balance) but I am not going to pretend to be unbiased:
On Paper, An Excellent Performance
