The only thing better than cheese and good chocolate is when I get it on sale!! About two weeks ago I got a great deal on a couple of AMAZING cheeses. What started out as delicate after dinner tastings (mutually appreciated by Kurt and I), has deteriorated into the uncontrollable before breakfast binge that has left me looking longingly at the red wax that a few minutes ago embraced a sharp english cheddar with cranberries. I have been indulging heavily as Kurt has been working LONG hours this week and I have turned to cheese and chocolate as a coping mechanism! Julia came down with a fever last Sunday and the rest of the kids followed suit during the week. Escaping from the the pain of neverending nights that evolved into day and then slowly crept back into snotty, moaning darkness once more!!
I thought we were getting over the bugs on Friday but then Kurt and I both came down with achy colds this weekend. Luckily it is a beautiful day outside and I plan to sit in the sunshine and let it flood my mind with happiness!!

You'll get no judement from me. Cadbury Mini-eggs went on sale for 19 cents a bag a week after Easter and there is a case of 30 in my garage as we speak. I can't afford gourmet cheese yet, but I might sell the cat to raise funds after reading your post.
Tell me about it - you need to check out Grocery Outlet... they have some great cheeses there very reasonably priced... and while you are there make sure you don't miss greek yogurt if they have it. The only problem is you never know what they will have when (so stock up if you find some thing good!). Oh... and we also have the after easter cadbury eggs in the cupboard;)
