"Innocent" Liam

My Mom and Dad are here YAYY!! On Wednesday morning we spent our time washing bedding and making up Mila's room for them to stay in. That took most of the morning because we had to find places for all of Mila's precious nicknacks ( and she has many of these) . I know I left it till the last minute... but I spent the day before just resting hoping to be over my cold by the time they arrived. Anyway... it was my parents... they saw my room when I was a teenager and still love me!

Just before we left for the airport I was trying to feed Liam some carrots while clearing up the kitchen a little at the same time. The bowl was almost empty and Liam was sitting like a little angel with his thumb in his mouth when I made the mistake of leaving the bowl of carrots up on the high chair while I turned around and grabbed something off the table to chuck in the dishwasher. When I turned around again (and I tell you my back was turned for 3 seconds), Liam was still staring at me innocently, sucking his thumb like nothing had happened but he was covered in carrots and the bowl was nowhere to be seen.

I retreived the bowl that was balancing precariously on his toe, then ran for the camera... thinking this was the most healthy way to deal with the situation. After I had snapped a few shots, I placed the bowl back in front of him (will I NEVER learn) as I placed the camera back in the bag. With one fowl swoop he knocked it into a carroty mess of china that spanned about 2 metres across the floor. Then promptly put his thumb back in his mouth and looked at me as if to say "that is what you wanted me to do isn't it?" A change of clothes later we were on our way... a little late but thankfully Mom and Dad are extemely patient.
