Lets go to the Moon

A few words exchanged between Kurt and Julia on Sunday on the way home from church summed up Julia's response to the move... and life in general really.

Julia "Where are we going, Papa?"

Kurt: "to the moon"

Julia: (somewhat excited) "I go with you Papa"

Kurt: "Are you coming with me to the moon?"

Julia: (eagerly)"Yes, I got my shoes on!"

She doesn't seem to have skipped a beat. The more excitement/ change the better for her... I wonder where she gets that from?

Mila had a very busy day today. She made a card for her teacher at church, helped me bake 2 loaves of spelt bread and 2 banana loaves, read a book, practised her guitar and listened to a story on her cd.. oh and then there was Family Home Evening. She is suddenly embracing the fact that she is getting older and there is SO MUCH she can do!

Liam ate his first non-milk food tonight: sweet potato. He just wouldn't settle and that was my last resort. He was up early this morning and is struggling with teething (top left pushed through last week and top right trying hard!!). He only had a few spoons then happily went straight to breast and fell asleep.

SNOW IN TEXAS

Yes, it is snowing!! On Saterday we were swimming and tonight it is snowing. It only started after the girls fell asleep and I almost wanted to wake them up ... but NO. Sleep comes before EVERYTHING - even snow. I hope it lasts till the girls wake up
tomorrow though ... Mila especially LOVES snow. She always says Winter is her favourite season. I think Kurt is outside taking some pics so I will post the proof in a while! Night night.

Please can you tell me how you started this online journal ... I've created a blog ... but don't know how to write so that it actually shows.
I think it's a fantastic idea and sommer going to tell all my friends to do it as well.

Hey Andriette -Kurt set this up but if you go to google home page and then click on "even more" and then the icon BLOGGER it takes you step by step through setting up your blog. When have typed your entry you click on "publish post" instead of save and when you view your blog it should be there!! Let me know your link - would love to see it.
